When you download the ZEISS INSPECT 2025 it is necessary to update your dongle. You do this via CodeMeter Control Center.

NB: If you are one of the users who use network licenses and would like to update your software, please contact us for support, as the procedure here is different.

Request licens file via CodeMeter Control Center (see instructions p. 2)

• Launch CodeMeter Control Center (you can search in the Microsoft taskbar)
• Press License Update - Next
• Choose Create license request - Press next
• Choose Extent existing license - Press next - Next
• Choose where the file should be saved - Press Commit - Finish
• Fill in and upload the file to Dongle Update Form

ZEISS will then send an Activation ID to the e-mail you have entered.

Now the following steps must be completed (see instructions p. 3):

• Open the ZEISS Quality Suite program
• Select “License Overview” and click on the “License Activation” button
• Enter your Activation ID in the “Entitlement ID / product key” field and then click “Next”
• Check that the dongle is plugged into the computer and matches the dialog box
• If this looks correct, click “Activate”
• Finish by clicking “Finish”

Please note that if you want to use the same dongle on multiple computers, there is a new procedure for that (se below).

How to use the same dongle on multiple computers (see instructions p. 4-5)

• Open the ZEISS Quality Suite program
• Select “License Overview”
• Left-click on the correct license or select the “Details” icon
• Select “License File” under Use License
• Select “License File” and save the .zlic file to an external hard drive or server
• Move this specific dongle to the other computers on which you would like to run the software 
• Now find the .zlic file you saved before
• Open the ZEISS Quality Suite application and go to “License overview”.
• Select the “Import” button/icon
• Press the plus sign icon or drag and drop the .zlic file.
• Finally, select “Activate”

You can now use the same dongle on multiple computers.

When you download a new version of ZEISS software, you need to update your dongle. This can be done in two ways.

By using ZEISS Software or CodeMeter Control Center.

Update using ZEISS Software

• Go to: Help - System Analysis - License information
• Press: License update - Request license update
• Fill in your name and e-mail before pressing; Send Request

ZEISS will then send a new file to the e-mail. After downloading you will have to

Update using CodeMeter Control Center

• Launch CodeMeter Control Center (you can search in the Microsoft taskbar)
• Press License Update - Next
• Choose Create license request - Press next
• Choose Extent existing license - Press next - Next
• Choose where the file should be saved - Press Commit - Finish
• Fill in and upload the file to Dongle Update Form

ZEISS then sends a new file to the e-mail that was filled in. After downloading the license file follow these steps:

• Launch CodeMeter Control Center (you can search in the Microsoft taskbar)
• Press License Update - Next
• Choose Import license update - Press next
• Choose the file - Press Commit

You can find the ID inscribed at the top on the USB dongle. Alternatively, you can also plug the USB in the computer and launch CodeMeter Control Center where your dongle ID will be shown.

At Zebicon we recommend that you recertify your scanning system annually. This way, you can ensure that it measures correctly and within the limit values.

However, it is up to the individual company and their recertification/calibration policy to decide the recertification intervals.

At myGOM you can download manuals, software and get access to ZEISS Knowledge base and Forum.

You access myGOM by filling out the Sign up form, afterwards you sign in with your ZEISS ID.

In the ZEISS Quality Training Center you have access to e-learning and online training from ZEISS. Some caurses are free, others are available for a fee.

To access ZEISS platforms and training material, you as a user must create a ZEISS ID. This is created at https://training.gom.com.

At the bottom of the page, you will find a registration link with the text "Sign up now", which will take you to the registration form.
